7/2/2014 · The lowers attach to the the fairing mount that is on the engine guard. I put the C clamp on that mount . When you do that, the hole on the lowers doesn’t line up with the mount . It is off about an inch. I think they are the RG ones. They had the mounts for the RG , the mount fits into the mount .

10/5/2009 · As per my sig , I have a 2010 RG , if you will notice on the 2010 fairing mounts they are tilted to the inside so that the regular touring lowers will fit, you should be able to go to the 2010 mounts and use the touring lowers, which come with the glove boxes and you wont have cut them, I have the touring lowers ordered for mine, called HD and they said they would fit.

1/31/2006 · 05 FLTR Fairings Part #’s for an 05 Outer is 58733-98A, inner is 58734-98B windshield is 57958-04. The fairing mount bracket is part # 58530-04. These part numbers are from the 05 Touring Models Parts Catalog. Now if you can just find someone with an earlier model parts book you could compare numbers.

11/4/2006 · Now it was time to install the first actual RG piece, the fairing mount bracket (58530-98). I carefully marked the interconnect, and (gulp), removed it. I had to remove the plugs on the front of the frame to allow the RG fairing mount to be bolted on.
